The Process Automation Training Kit is an industry-oriented platform that provides hands-on training in real-world industrial process control, bridging theoretical concepts with actual plant operations through live, continuous process systems.
Built with industrial-grade tanks, pumps, control valves, transmitters, and sensors, the system replicates a small-scale process plant and covers the four core process variables: Level, Flow, Temperature, and Pressure. It supports On/Off and PID control, along with interlocks, feedforward logic, and disturbance handling, enabling learners to observe real process behavior and control dynamics.
Powered by Siemens S7-1500 PLC and Siemens MTP 700 Unified HMI, the kit delivers industry-relevant exposure to PLC, HMI, and SCADA-based automation, aligned with modern process industries and Industry 4.0 requirements.
